Jah9 has announced that she will be releasing her new album, titled “Note To Self,” on the 13th of March. In an email to her team, she said “the album chronicles a self thesis on sustaining mental, physical, and spiritual health and wealth.”
Though the project is not due out until March, it is available for pre-order now!
The Ministry of Culture and the Jamaican Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA), has once again ask Fellowship Tabernacle to host this year’s Church Service to launch Reggae Month in Jamaica. A number of special guests will be in attendance and the service, which starts at 10:00 AM, is open to the general public.
Fellowship Tabernacle is located at 2 Fairfield Avenue in Kingston 20 (behind the Boulevard Supercenter).
A few days ago Jamaican dancehall-gospel artist DJ Nicholas shared the video for his single “This World.” The song, which is released via GloHeart Music and On The Shout Inc., is all about the troubling state of the world.

Afropop recording artist Mr. Eazi has just shared his first single in 2020, “Kpalanga,” along with the official video, which is now on his YouTube channel.
“Kpalanga,” which translates to “go crazy,” finds Mr. Eazi capturing the ebbs and flows of a powerful but strained love affair over producer Killertunes’ multi-layered, afro-trap beat. The track, which is dedicated to servicemen and women around the world, was inspired by the real-life love between Eazi’s military father and civilian mother.

On Saturday, February 29th, UK reggae artist JC Lodge will do her first live performance in Santa Ana, California in over thirty years. She will do a set at Original Mike’s, located at 100 South Main Street.
This 21 and older event is being hosted by Money Mouth Inc. and Tita Nutt. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

On Saturday, March 21st, legendary recording artist Keith Sweat will headline a concert at the Paramount Theater, located at 2025 Broadway in Oakland, California. He will be supported by two major RnB groups: Next and Blackstreet.
