As a part of their ‘Thursday Night Live’ series, the Jungle Fiah Lounge, located in the AMC Plaza, Bayside, Portmore, will be hosting four reggae-dancehall veteran artists tomorrow, March 12th. They have invited Courtney Melody, Johnny P, Flourgon and Daddy Lizard to perform all their past hits as well as some new releases.
This is a live band show that will run from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM local time.
In keeping with its objective to foster strategic growth of culinary tourism as a product niche for Jamaica, the Gastronomy Network has organized the third staging of the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival, scheduled for March 20th to the 22nd, at Newcastle in the Blue Mountains.
The festival will include training and business networking sessions for farmers, as well as a marketplace which will be open to the general public. There will also be a musical performance by the Grammy nominated reggae group Third World.
Legendary deejay, chanter and recording artist, Big Youth, will make his long-awaited return to Liverpool, England in a few weeks.
Back in August 2017 he played his first ever show in the city, performing to a sell out crowd at District Night Club (61 Jordon Street). It was a truly magical experience, and reggae lovers are eager to do it again on April 12th, which falls on a Bank Holiday weekend.
He will be backed by the Upper Cut Band and supported by dub poet, Levi Tafari + DJ Keith Marley.
On Saturday, March 14th, Ms. Lauryn Hill will perform at the Tower Theater, located at 69th & Ludlow in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. This is an all ages event that’s expected to start at 8:00 PM local time.

On Saturday, March 14th, legendary hip-hop MC KRS-One will be live at the Ardmore Music Hall (23 East Lancaster Avenue) in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. He will be supported by Reef The Lost Cauze, DJ Caliph Now, DJ Touchtone and Cypher Clique.
This event is being presented by Walking Bear Productions, and hosted by Lady B. Tickets, which are going for $32 USD, are available via Eventbrite.
On Saturday, April 11th, Capleton will perform a set at the historic live music venue, Main Street Armory, located at 900 E Main Street in Rochester, New York.
The event, which is called Reggae Blaze, is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM local time. The admission fee ranges from $45 to $65 USD.
