At the end of March, American soul singer, Brian McKnight, released the visuals for his new single “Nobody.” The song, which is dedicated to his wife who is also in the video, was published on the SoNo Recording Group label on March 13th.

Barbados’ biggest reggae event, the annual Barbados Reggae Festival, will not take place on the announced dates of April 24th – 28th. In accordance with the request made by the Prime Minister of Barbados (to restrict public gatherings), the organizers have decided to postpone the event to a later date.
The new date has not yet been announced.
On Friday, April 10th, Jamaican gospel artist Kevin Downswell will go live on both Facebook and Instagram at 6 PM (Jamaica time). He will be joined by musical colleague Rondell Positive.
In addition to engaging in an in-depth conversation centered on God, viewers will also be treated to some live music.
The organizers of the annual Canadian Music Week has announced that the event has been postponed until September, 2020. It was initially scheduled to take place from May 19-23 in downtown Toronto. The new tentative dates are Sept. 8-13, 2020. See statement below.
“Due to the continuing spread of the novel COVID-19 virus we believe it is our social responsibility to postpone the upcoming Canadian Music Week 2020 Conference and Expo. In light of the recent growing number of event cancellations, Public Health Canada statements, and various provincial gathering bans, we concluded this was the right decision. The health and safety of our speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, visitors, and staff is our number one priority. We have managed to find an alternative date at a later time period at the same venue (Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel). The NEW dates for Canadian Music Week will be September 8–13, 2020.”

Trolls World Tour, the 2020 American animated musical film, will be available (at home) on demand this Friday, April 10th.
The DreamWorks animation, which is a sequel to the 2016 film Trolls, has an all-star cast. The film stars: Mary J. Blige, Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Ozzy Osbourne, and Rachel Bloom.
At the end of March, dancehall artist Shane-O published the visuals for his trending single “Star In The Sky.” The inspirational record is featured on the High Supremacy Riddim, produced by Damage Musiq.

On Friday, April 3rd, international recording artist Anthony B released a catchy new dancehall single called “Lion Awaken.” The song, which is on the Jus Eazy Production music label, is being distributed by VPAL.
