Starting today – Friday, October 16th – through Sunday, October 18th, The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) will present the ‘Save Our Stages Festival.’ The event’s main objective is to generate money for venues experiencing loss revenues because of the pandemic.

Akon’s New Video Puts A Twist On Racial Injustice (@Akon)

As a black owned and operated music platform we have to give kudos to international recording artist Akon for the way he was able to tell just a small part of the black story from a unique perspective.

As America and indeed the world continues to grapple with racial injustice it is important that we as a black people communicate to non-blacks in a way that gets them to understand why we are so angry and frustrated. Akon was able to do that in his new video “Ain’t No Peace.”

The R&B singer reversed the roles of blacks and whites by making black people slave owners and white people slaves. Click here or on the image above to check it out and remember to like, comment and share.
