Emerging Dancehall Artist Asta-G Partners With Damien Ceza On New Single

Clarendonian dancehall artist Asta-G has joined forces with New York based producer Damien Ceza on a new single titled Get Yu Energy Up.

The record, which was officially released via all streaming platforms on July 13th, is a fun,  upbeat dancehall song that was created to get people to put down their phones, bottles, guns etc. and just enjoy life.

As he did with his recently released Midnight Run Riddim, Ceza created the beat for Get Yu Energy Up in his Staten Island studio. He then connected with Asta-G online as both men had discussed the possibility of working together shortly after the completion of the Midnight Run project.

When asked what inspired Get Yu Energy Up, Ceza said the following: “My inspiration for this song was to create a positive vibe to be enjoyable for every age, gender and culture. All of my productions are fun and clean. This one is no exception.”
