Trini gospel artist Blessed Messenger is asking a very serious and timely question via his latest single; What’s Your Intention. the track is featured on the just released compilation, Real Talk Riddim, produced by BT Records.

Although the title of the song alludes to an inquiry being made, the record must be listened to and digested in its entirety to really appreciate its relevance in today’s egotistical world. Snatcha Lion, the brother of musical greats Richie Spice, Spanner Banner and Pliers, has just shared the visuals for his new single, You Rule. The song is featured on the Rock All Riddim, released on August 27, 2021, via Reggae Vibes Music.

Although You Rule is a lovers-rock reggae tune it does have snippets of dancehall, as Lion delivers his message using a combination of both singing and deejaying styles. On the record, he professes not just his love for his lady but also his commitment to ensuring that she remains a priority in his life;
regardless of what others are saying.

The song’s official video premiered on Reggaeville’s YouTube platform yesterday, October 19. The visuals were captured by Phoenix Studios JA at Hope Gardens in Kingston and Richard Brown Films in Negril. Editing was done by Reggae Vibes Media – a subsidiary of Reggae Vibes Music.

This Sunday, October 24th, Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz will take on Costa Rica’s women’s team in a friendly match at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The game is scheduled to begin at 4pm (local time).

D’Angelo took the music world by storm with his exceptional musical prowess and amazing artistry. However, in the midst of platinum selling albums, multiple Grammy Awards, and sold-out world tours he left the public eye as a result of the pressures of success, only to return out of nowhere with a landmark soundtrack of his lost years.

Now his fans are being invited into his world via a digital stage presentation of the acclaimed documentary Devil’s Pie at the Apollo Theatre on November 4th. It has never been widely screened for New York audiences. Reggae Takeover, a reggae movement operating in the Boston area, will be celebrating their five-year anniversary this Sunday, October 24, at La Fabrica Central (450 Massachusetts Ave) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The organizers have invited Rastafarian reggae artist Iba Mahr to help them celebrate this momentous occasion. As such, Mahr will be on hand and is expected to deliver a solid live performance.

The six-track dancehall compilation features music from veteran artists Pinchers, Louie Culture and Danny English; as well as upcoming performers Queen Kamarla, Jabalance and Diestro.
