LL Cool J Honored With Statue In New York (@llcoolj @LeozineStudio)

A sculptural monument dedicated to hip-hop legend LL Cool J is now on display at David Dinkins Circle in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. The statue, which is being called The G.O.A.T Monument, was erected in November 2021 and will remain in place until November 2022.

It displays a young LL Cool J wearing his signature kangol hat with a boombox in front of him. The piece was created by respected Trinidadian-American artist Sherwin Banfield. Click here to check it out.

Recording artist Rhoda Isabella surprised fans earlier today (December 8th) when she announced her new record label, RIMCity Records, and followed up shortly thereafter with a new song and video.

Jamaica’s PM Relaxes Curfew Hours For The Upcoming Christmas Holiday

Effective December 10th, Jamaica’s new curfew hours will be from 10pm nightly to 5am the following morning. However, on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day it will commence at 1am giving persons more time to enjoy the holiday festivities.

The PM has made it clear that even though the curfew hours are being relaxed all the other measures will remain in place. And the relaxation is as a result of the drop in covid-19 infections over the past few weeks.

Chezidek Will Perform Live In Dakar, Senegal On Jan. 1st (@PUPPACHEZIDEK)

Roots artist Chezidek will kick off 2022 on stage in Dakar, Senegal. He is scheduled to perform at Hôtel Monaco Plage, located at Bel Air, Chemin de I’Hydrobase, with backing band Jahmo.

The event will also feature guest artists Saah Karim, Peeya Fyah and Wzaa. It is being presented by Kemtan Iyah and popular reggae promoter Sen Reggae.

Bounty Killer Joins Richie Stephens On “Crazy” Remix

International recording artist Richie Stephens may have another major hit on his hands. He just released the remix of his single Crazy, which features dancehall legend Bounty Killer, and the record is getting a lot of attention.
