Jamaica Joins Haiti In Reggae Concert Aimed At Mental & Economical Liberation

Star Shine Production, a Haiti based creative agency – in association with the Trench Town Community Trust and the Trench Town Development Association – will present an event called Trench Town Experience 2. Its objective is to generate funds for the people of Haiti’s mental and economical liberation.

It will be held at the Trench Town Culture Yard Museum, located at 6 and 8 1st Street in Kingston, Jamaica. In addition to being an in-person show, it will also stream live online for those not able to physically attend. 

Several top-tier roots artists have been confirmed to the lineup: Leroy Sibbles, Luciano, Stranger Cole, Ken Boothe, Wailing Soul, Horace Andy, Big Youth, and that is just to name a few. The show will also feature several emerging talents.

Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons & Friends To Deliver “Verse 2” On Feb. 24

After teasing it for a few days, Bunji Garlin is now announcing the full lineup for the second installment of the new stage show: Verse. The event will go down at the Naparima Bowl – 19 Paradise Pasture in San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago – on Thursday, February 24.

The long awaited album, Love Supreme, by popular Nigerian artist Nneka is now available on all streaming platforms. The thirteen-track record, which has a variety of musical styles, went live on Friday, February 11th, 2022.

At the beginning of February, dancehall artist and fitness fanatic Bling Dawg shared a thirty-six minute documentary in support of his new album, Elev8. It gives viewers an intimate, behind the scenes look at the creation of the record, while simultaneously educating us about Bling Dawg‘s musical history.

Several well known veteran reggae and dancehall artists are also featured: Damian Marley, Bounty Killer, Busy Signal, Tarrus Riley, Walshy Fire, Romain Virgo, Tanya Stephens, Christopher Martin and more. All the aforementioned have worked with the deejay and continues to support him.
