R&B singer / songwriter Giveon has just dropped a new single. The slow ballad done in his signature style is titled Lie Again and it comes to us courtesy of Epic Records.

Tony! Toni! Toné! the American soul and R&B group from Oakland, California that rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 90s, will be performing at Blue Note in Honolulu, Hawaii this month.
They have been confirmed for two dates: Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14. Both concerts are being presented by 94.7 KUMU FM, a rhythmic adult contemporary radio station based in Downtown Honolulu.
This Saturday, May 7th, reggae star Gramps Morgan along with Gilili Ramos and Jemere Morgan will be performing live in Houston, Texas. The special Mother’s Day concert will be held at 12457 Bissonnet Street with host Gary Show.
Additional music will be provided by DJ Green Thumb, DJ Principito and DJ Acaparamiento.
Karamanti has just released the official video for Spiritual Realms, the second single from her album, Spiritual Warfare, published in December, 2021.
The video was shot at two locations in Kingston, Jamaica: Nelson Mandela Park in Half Way Tree and Hope Botanical Gardens – more popularly known as Hope Zoo – on Old Hope Road. It was shot by Crazy Media TV and edited by Maria Jackson.
Although the song’s lyrical content focuses on some very profound unworldly matters, the approach to the visuals was much more relaxed. It features several dance routines done by Street Team, the winners of Jamaica’s popular television program Dancin’ Dynamites.
The rhythm for Spiritual Realms was built by Major P, who is based in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. It was recorded at Anchor Studios in Kingston; mixed at Lampshade Music in Portmore and mastered by AudioTraxx Productions in Old Harbour.
Jabari Production presents a comedy show called To Mom With Laughter on Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 8 – at Premier Restaurant and Lounge (6924 Main Street) in Lithonia, Georgia.
Top-tier Jamaican comedians Johnny, from Lime Tree Lane and Fancy Cat from the popular TV show Ity and Fancy Cat will be doing sets, along with Lemon, Serena Watkins and Janet Dollar. Host for the evening is radio personality Pretty Boy Floyd.

Stephen Marley‘s summer tour, dubbed Babylon By Bus, will commence on Thursday, May 26th at the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey. It will run until the end of July, with the final stop being at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia.
