Admiral Tibet Performs In Kenya On October 8th

Island Vibes Reggae Kenya will host Jamaican music legend Admiral Tibet at the K.I.C.C Grounds in Nairobi on Saturday, October 8th. The event’s objective is to promote unity among the youths, especially as the country just elected a new president.

The live band show will begin at 8pm local time, and there is a 2,000 KSHS general entrance fee. Advance tickets can be purchased online for 1,000 KSHS.

On October 1st 2NTuned Promotions will present Virginia’s Talent Showcase at a private location in Portsmouth. They are inviting all up-and-coming singers and rappers to come out and display their skills in front of record label executives.

80s veteran reggae artist – King Kong – recently went viral on both Instagram and Tik Tok, after a video of him doing a freestyle was uploaded. The visuals were taped at a studio in Jamaica by Evidence Music, the imprint that’s behind the production.

The Great Billy Ocean Performs At Blue Note Hawaii Next Month (@MrWongo)

The most popular British R&B singer-songwriter of the early to mid-1980s – Billy Ocean – is confirmed for four shows at Blue Note Hawaii in October. He will perform on October 13, 14, 16 and 17; starting at 6pm each night.

The Trinidad and Tobago-born recording artist has a string of hits: Caribbean Queen, Suddenly, There’ll Be Sad Songs, Get Outta My Dreams, When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going, and so many more.

Ocean is a Grammy award winner who has sold over 30 million records. He has also given us a pile of gold and platinum records, all while hitting the number one spot on pop charts in the USA, Australia, Germany, Holland and the UK.

Enrique Holmes’ Live Recording On Oct. 14 Will Feature Naomi Raine, Tasha Cobbs & Others

On October 14 Enrique Holmes will be doing the You’re Gonna See It live taping at The dReam Center Church of Atlanta. He will be supported by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, David Wilford, Naomi Raine, Tela Robinson and Kelontae Gavin.

Richie Stephens Wraps Up Back-To-Back Album Launch Concerts In Florida

After releasing his fourteen-track album at the end of August, singer-songwriter and producer Richie Stephens headed to Florida for a three-day album launch stint.

His first concert was at Flexx Fridayz on September 9th at The Garden in Lauderdale Lakes. There he was supported by guest artist Dilly Chris, as well as selectors DJ Lance 876 and DJ Action Kwame. This event was followed by another album release party at Reggae Riddim Jamaica Restaurant & Lounge in Apopka on the 10th. Ed Robinson and Adriana Clark were on the lineup, with backing band Riddim Dreamz and DJ Ming

The last of the three concerts, which was presented by RNR Productions, was at the Bashment Event Center – 1700 Tamiami Trail, Unit B1 – in Port Charlotte, Florida on Sunday the 11th. Again Stephens was joined by his friend ED Robinson plus recording artists Empress Uneek and Ras Chakai.

Reverse the Curse (album) was released on August 26 on the Pot Of Gold and BoomRich Production record labels. It is now available for download on all music platforms.

Jamaican Roots, Jerk & Reggae Festival Starts Strong With Mykal Rose

The Afro-Caribbean Cultural Association of Arizona, in partnership with Ocho Rios Jerk Spot and Big Dreamz Promotions, present the 1st annual Jamaican Roots, Jerk & Reggae Festival!

It promises to be a fun day with lots of African and Caribbean food, culture, music and good vibes. Furthermore, there will be a live performance by Mykal Rose (formerly of the legendary roots group Black Uhuru).

The Jamaican Roots, Jerk & Reggae Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1st at the Heritage Square Foundation – 113 North 6th Street – in Phoenix, Arizona.
