If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This seems to be the thinking of legendary hip-hop artist Nasir Jones – known publicly as Nas – and producer Hit-Boy. The pair are apparently gearing up to release part three of their King’s Disease album series.

Nas, who hails from Queensbridge, took to social media a few days ago and made the announcement with three gold plated bars in front of a red backdrop with “KD 3” written on each bar.

JC Lodge Is Calling For A “Love Uprising”

Veteran British-Jamaican reggae singer JC Lodge is using her latest single – Love Uprising – to encourage some much needed constructive transformation in the world. On the record, she calls on all of us – male female, black white, young old etc. – to be more tolerant, patient and open as we deal with ourselves and each other.

The track is well timed because life here on earth – regardless of your specified location – has gotten extremely turbulent; and regretfully, we have all become tempestuous as a result. Love Uprising is a refreshing reggae tune that somehow gets us to pause, breathe, and restart from a place of warmth and tenderness.

The song is featured on the Positive Transfusion EP, released at the end of September by My MM Productions. Other artists on the project are: Luciano, Wayne Armond, Pinchers, Calton Coffie and Stevie Malekuu. The Positive Transfusion EP can be streamed and downloaded from iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and all other digital music platforms.
