Lineup For “Legends Of The Mic 2022” Announced

On Saturday, December 10th some of hip-hop’s greatest emcees will gather at the Foxwoods Resort Casino – 350 Trolley Line Blvd – in Ledyard, Connecticut, for the 2022 staging of Legends Of The Mic.

This year’s lineup includes: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Lox, Scarface, Onyx, M.O.P., MR Cheeks and AZ. The concert will be held in the Premier Theater, starting at 8pm local time. Get tickets here.

Catch Kukudoo At “For His Glory” On Nov. 26

The accomplished entertainer and committed follower of Christ, Minister Kukudoo, is set to headline the upcoming For His Glory concert on Saturday, November 26th. The event will take place at the Crescent Seventh Day Church of God in Crescent District, Spanish Town (Jamaica).

Kukudoo will be joined by Jai Kingston, Carey Sayles, Marco Newell, Officer Mullings and Dwight Ferrari; with MC Daron Smith. Starting time is 7pm, and there is a $1,300 entrance fee for adults and $500 for children.

This Friday Salt-N-Pepa Will Be Honored With Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star (@TheSaltNPepa)

This coming Friday – November 4th – legendary girl group Salt-N-Pepa will get their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce made the announcement last week; adding that the ladies will receive recognition in the Recording category.

Two other female legends, MC Lyte and Roxanne Chante, are also confirmed as guest speakers at the upcoming event. The ceremony will stream live exclusively on walkoffame-dot-com.

Regina Belle and her team at Tashi III Entertainment has kicked off the month of November with the release of her very first Christmas album: My Colorful Christmas.

Junior Kelly’s “Protection” Gets Well Over 10,000 Streams In First Week (@bigfeetrecords)

Approximately two weeks ago Big Feet Records released “Protection,” a bouncy reggae tune performed by Junior Kelly. Immediately upon its release it began getting steady rotation from media houses in Jamaica and overseas. That support continues today.

The ongoing positive reviews have resulted in Protection getting well over 10,000 streams in its first week. As such, producer Josh Harris – who shared the news – is encouraging reggae lovers who have not done so as yet, to check out the tune. It’s available on all digital streaming platforms.

Mikey General Shares 2nd Single From His “Hold A Heights” Album

Reality Shock & Qabalah First Music presents Loyalty, the second single from Mikey General‘s new album Hold A Heights. The official video for Loyalty shot in Jamaica by Remii Studios is now live on YouTube.

The album Hold A Heights has been making waves across the globe since it came out in July (of this year), and Loyalty is favored by many – including veteran reggae broadcaster Clinton Lindsay – who has been championing the new single in the USA. Hold A Heights is currently #7 on the Foundation Radio Network Reggae Album Chart in New York.

Dawn Martin, Rhoda Isabella, Perpetual Praise & Others To Perform At “Grand Vision” Benefit Concert In November

Several of Jamaica’s top-tier gospel artists are coming together to support Granville Benjamin, a popular sound engineer who requires extensive eye surgery. The event, which is to take place at Eastwood Park New Testament Church – 51 Eastwood Park Road – in Kingston, Jamaica, on Friday, November 4th, is appropriately called Grand Vision.
