At the beginning of November American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys released her 9th studio album; a Christmas record titled Santa Baby. The eleven-track project was published exclusively on Apple Music (iTunes), and it features four original songs and seven covers of popular Christmas carols.
Femme It Forward, in partnership with Live Nation, will present one of their Serenade shows this Friday, November 25th. Boyz II Men, Dru Hill and 112 will perform at Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Premier Theater – 39 Norwich Westerly Road – in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
The Serenade concert series was created to show that men celebrate women too. To that end, various male artists (Eric Benét, New Edition’s Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Morris Day, Donell Jones, Musiq Soulchild etc.) have been headlining several shows across the U.S. since the beginning of autumn.
Track number-four on Nas‘ new album, King’s Disease 3, is titled Michael & Quincy. According to the Queensbridge emcee, the song was done to honor Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson, two musical giants that he has always admired.
Earlier today – November 21 – he shared the tune’s official video along with the following caption: “Congrats to MJ & Q on the 40th Anniversary of the biggest album in history, Thriller. And how this song honors you two musical greats in perfect timing was just meant to be. Michael & Quincy video Out Now #KD3”.

Whenever Agent Sasco shows up on a track we listen intently; this is because his music goes beyond entertainment, it is usually very informative. The attention is heightened when he starts off by saying “true story.”
That’s what he did on his latest release; a single titled She’s a Saint, done on the Night Light Riddim produced by Irie Ites Records. On this one Sasco tells the tale of a wealthy man who uses money to keep his love interest; not knowing that she is actively creeping (cheating) while pretending to be a good girl. Campari’s Respect the Bitter Holiday Vibes Road Show is on the move again this Friday, November 25th. It will make two stops in St. Ann, Jamaica. The first will be at the Brown’s Town Bus Park at 8pm, and the second will be at the Salem Truck Stop at 11:30pm.
International recording artist Charly Black will perform live at both shows; and admission is free.
The crowned king of soca, Machel Montano, will celebrate his birthday at the Kings Theatre – 1027 Flatbush Avenue – in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, November 23rd; a day before his actual born day.
He will be joined by Majah Hype, Lilly Singh, Russell Peters, Affion Crockett and Big Norm. In addition to the entertainment, there will also be an exclusive screening of the documentary Journey Of A Soca King – A Machel Montano Story.
