Marsha Wade Shares Lineup & Location For “Soetry & a Concert”

On Saturday, January 28, gospel artist Marsha Wade will host Soetry & a Concert at Calabar High School Chapel – 61 Red Hills Road – in Kingston, Jamaica. Starting time is 7pm, and there is a $1,500 JMD admission fee.

The event’s objective is to provide a platform for emerging talents: singers, chanters, soets, deejays, poets etc. who are using their gifts for the Kingdom. In addition to some special guest artists, Wade has also added Akilah Griffiths Shannon, Felicia Blake, Darren Salmon, Esquire, M.A.P, The Johnsons, Eliv8 Muzik, and dancers Makeda and Michael Reid to the lineup. Leighton Smith is the master of ceremony; and there will be giveaways, prizes and surprises.

It goes without saying that in addition to carrying out her duties as host, Marsha Wade will also be performing. She is currently promoting her recently released singles: God Can Gwaa Eeh and Rise. Both are available on Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, Tidal and all other digital music stores.

Legendary Blues Guitarist Joe Louis Walker Will Play At Iridium In February

Joe Louis Walker, also known as JLW, is confirmed for New York’s popular live jazz, rock and blues venue – The Iridium – on Saturday, February 18. This is an all ages concert that will begin at 8:30pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Joe Louis Walker is a Blues Hall of Fame inductee and a four-time Blues Music Award winner. His album Everybody Wants a Piece (2015) was nominated for a Grammy.

Vu Skateboard Shop presents The Realness 2 – Skate Deck Release Show on Thursday, February 9th at The Metro Gallery – 1700 North Charles Street – in Baltimore, Maryland. Cormega, who will be supported by Skarr Akbar and deejays Remedy and Excel, will perform tracks from the LP. He will also be available for a meet and greet with his diehard fans and supporters.
