Nigerian born, South African based and World Acclaimed Trumpeter ETUK UBONG is a maverick on the Horn, bringing to Life an almost magical semblance with every tune.

Among the Wynton Marsalis, Louis Armstrong and so on; Etuk Ubong has not only grown to the level of these great talents, but has astonishingly raised the bar displaying passion in every sound. It wont be long before he joins the hall of fame for great trumpeters from Africa.

This amazing instrumentalist was featured on the Gabon school of music project which was hosted at the world’s famous Berklee School of Music (USA) in 2016 with the likes of Akon, Davido and more.

He has just released a new album titled “TALES OF LIFE.” Composed and arranged by Etuk Ubong, it was recorded at Vita Studio in Lagos Nigeria and Mixed and Mastered by Oluwadamilare Akinyede at the Alpha June Studio, Nigeria.

After an impressive entrance at #3 on the Billboard Reggae chart with his debut album “Big Deal,” soulful singer Christopher Martin is headed on his first major North American tour to deliver what he calls “real-life music.”

On March 17th, 2017, Chris Martin kicked off his ten week #BigDeal Tour in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The tour is scheduled to run through May, ending in Canada. The tour will see the artist performing some of his biggest hits such as: “Cheater’s Prayer” and “I’m a Big Deal,” along with new songs: “My Love” which is a fusion of dancehall, pop and reggae ton, the recent hit, “Under the Influence” and the sexy R&B-flavored single “Magic,” produced by Martin himself.

JAMAICAN STAR OMI BOOKED FOR IRIE FASHION RAVE (@omimusiconline)

In 2015, Jamaican international pop star OMI created history in the USA with his smash hit “Cheerleader,” that won the coveted Billboard No. 1 song of the summer, ahead of stars like Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar and Adele.

In the UK, Omi also made history when “Cheerleader” topped the pop charts for four consecutive weeks, the longest reign at number one in the UK by a Jamaican artist.

Fast forward to 2017 and OMI is still smashing records, as he is booked to blaze the stage at the seventh staging of Irie Fashion Rave (IFR) that takes place on April 22 & 23, 2017 at Roosevelt Field Mall in New York. OMI will become the first Jamaican/Caribbean artiste to perform at the upscale shopping mall in East Garden City, Long Island, New York – one of the largest mall networks in the USA and home to Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus.

RICHIE STEPHENS & SKA NATION BAND TO MAKE REGGAE SUMFEST DEBUT

Singer Richie Stephens & his Italian based Ska Nation Band are heading to Montego Bay, Jamaica this summer. The group is confirmed to play at Reggae Sumfest 2017, which unfolds at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay on July 16-22. Other confirmed acts include female DJ Spice, Queen Africa, Alkaline and Christopher Martin.

Last year, Richie Stephens & The Ska Nation Band released their debut studio album titled “Internationally,” which included hit singles “Fire Fire,” “Foundation,” “Internationally” feat. Sud Sound System, Kingston “Salento” and “Original Style” feat. Sean Paul & Gentleman. A new, yet to be titled sophomore album will be released before the end of the year.

Having just wrapped up a successful performance on the Love & Harmony Cruise, Thriller U is now back in Jamaica focusing on his new single, “Non Genuine.” The track was released on February 21st and is already getting great reviews by reggae critics worldwide.

Chairman of the Jam Link International Association, Henzel Clarke, has announced that they have added international soul singer PEARL to the line up for the 2017 One Love Poetry Fest. Patrons can look forward to a set of both soul and jazz from the singing sensation.
