Nomcebo Zikode May Have Another Global Hit On Her Hands (@NomceboXola @OpenMicProdSA)

Nomcebo Zikode, the singer that gave us the biggest song in 2020, “Jerusalema,” may have another global hit on her hands. “Xola Moya Wam,” which means ‘Sorry My Soul‘ in English, is her current single. It’s on her new album, with the same name, and it also features Master KG.

“Jerusalema” Did Not Need A Remix! (@NomceboXola @MasterKGsa)

No one can dispute the fact that “Jerusalema,” performed by South African singer and songwriter Nomcebo Zikode and produced by Master KG, is the biggest song for 2020. It has gotten, and continues to get, heavy rotation on all traditional and digital music platforms globally ever since it came out at the end of 2019.

After the massive success of the original version, Master KG invited popular Nigerian artist Burna Boy to join them on the remix. Although Burna Boy is a musical force this remix was not necessary as it did not add anything new to the record. The initial release was so powerful and captivating that any remake of it would have to go over and above, and this one just did not.
