Romain Virgo’s latest song – a Caribbean pop tune called Good Woman – is already trending, after having been officially released for only a few hours.

The track went live on all major digital streaming platforms on December 3rd and was followed by the official video on the 4th. Notwithstanding the fact that it’s brand new, both audio and video have been placed in high rotation globally.

New Afro-Beat Vdeo: Wande Coal – Come My Way (@wandecoal)

The return of Wande Coal continues as the veteran Nigerian singer shares visuals for his latest single, Come My Way. The song, which comes to us courtesy of Starstruck and Empire, is produced by Bruno and Screwface.

Come My Way is Wande Coal’s first solo release of 2021. It follows last year’s Realms EP, his first new project in six years. The track blends the infectious vibes of afro-beat and the throbbing digital pulse of South Africa’s exploding ama-piano sound with Wande’s powerful, multi-octave vocals.

Clinton Fearon, Andy Coe & Newel Briggs Will Play Acoustic Sets In Portland On Nov. 6th

On Saturday, November 6th at 8pm (local time), three guitarists: Clinton Fearon, Andy Coe and Newel Briggs, will, for the first time, do a live acoustic performance together. The highly anticipated event will be held at Jack London Revue, located at 529 SW 4th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.

Tickets, which can be purchased here, are priced at $25usd. This is a 21 and older event, and patrons will be expected to wear a mask at all times.

Toronto Live Music Venue ‘Lula Lounge’ Will Reopen On Sept. 16th (@lulalounge)

Lula Lounge, Toronto’s home to Latin, Brazilian and global roots music, launches its 19th fall season with a four-day celebration of artists on the award-winning Lulaworld Records label.

Join them from Thursday, September 16 to Sunday, September 19 at Lula Lounge and outside in the Lula neighbourhood to experience all the salsa, champeta, forró, Afrobeat, Latin, hip-hop and reggae treats that Lula artists have been cooking up over the long months of the pandemic.

Featured artists include Grammy and Juno nominees and winners, alongside emerging projects from the ever-expanding Lulaworld universe!
