Karamanti Kicks Off 2021 With The Release Of A New Afrobeat Single “Mi Nuh Bow”

After what can only be considered an unpredictable year, Karamanti is kicking off 2021 with the release of a new afrobeat single, titled “Mi Nuh Bow.” Last year, once it became clear that we were in a pandemic, the lyricist decided to abandoned all plans to create and release new music. She instead focused on completing projects already started, and “Mi Nuh Bow” falls in that category.

It was recorded some time ago at Anchor Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica by engineer Delroy ‘Fatta’ Pottinger, and later mixed and mastered by Donald ‘Tixie’ Dixon in Miami, Florida.

As she tends to do on most of her tracks, Karamanti once again reaffirms her position as a conscious recording artist who is determined to remain steadfast in her faith and positive lifestyle. On a bouncy afrobeat rhythm – which was created by Zimbabwean singer Teban Cee – she chants:

“Karamanti mi nuh bow no no
I and I never go down oh no
God pickney a no clown no no
Mi dem cannot push around oh no”

“Mi Nuh Bow” is on Karamanti’s own Blakkwuman22 Music label.
