DS Records LLC, in association with The Garden, presents “Reggae Legend Meet The
New Arrival” on Friday, October 19th at 4340 North State Road 7 in Lauderdale
Lakes, Florida. The event will feature several new and upcoming artists alongside
a couple established names in reggae.

Confirmed headlining acts are international recording artists Leroy Sibbles and
Duane Stephenson. There will also be performances from Black Prophet, Charmaine
Limonius and Genah Chris Schleifer. Backing band for the evening will be the Roze
Hytez Band.

Beres Hammond’s video for “I’m Alive,” which is taken from his new album Never Ending, was filmed at various locations around Kingston including Beres’ own Harmony House Studio. It was directed by RD Studios and it features several top-tier Jamaican artists, namely: Christopher Martin, Jesse Royal, Romain Virgo and many more.

Believe It, written and performed by Kerry Starr, was recorded in 2007 at the Taxi Records Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. It was produced by the legendary production duo Sly and Robbie on the Tune In Riddim. Though the song was done years ago, back then Kerry was not in a position to properly promote and market the record so she held on to it. Fast forward to 2018 and a more established Kerry Starr is now ready to unleash what she is sure is a hit on to the world stage!

The artist re-released the song a few days ago and is already enjoying rotation from credible radio platforms such as Irie FM. In addition to getting steady radio spins, Believe It is also featured on a number of mixtapes. When asked what she thinks about the feedback the song is getting, a confident Kerry Starr said the following: “I feel good that they like it, I have learnt that good work never goes unnoticed. We just need to keep working. I feel grateful.”

Internationally acclaimed roots reggae group Taj Weekes & Adowa announce the release of their 6th album, To All My Relations (TAMR), slated for worldwide release on all streaming and downloadable platforms on October 12th through Jatta Records and VPAL (the distribution arm of VP Records).

Recorded and produced by Steel Pulse musician and producer Sidney Mills, TAMR is a culmination of the band’s collective experiences, travelling the United States over the last two years in the thick of the current political climate. From Standing Rock to rural conservative America, the band experienced both sides of the socio-political coin.

Jamaican, Canadian contemporary reggae gospel artist, Jermaine Wilmoth, has just released the island mix to his track “Do You Believe In His Love.” Known by many as a committed Christian, Jermaine continues to minister to the world through his music. On “Do You Believe In His Love” the singer laments on the undeniable love of God, while simultaneously questioning his audience’s dedication to their Faith.

Reggae’s living legend Jimmy Cliff, who recently suffered a broken hip and had to cancel all his October dates, is now doing well. His management team has reported that he is now in rehab and his recovery is going well.
