New Reggae Release: 3D Riddim – Detroit Avenue Production (@detroitavenue)

3d riddimDetroit Avenue Production, the Seaview Gardens record label, has just released the 3D Riddim. The project is an upbeat reggae rhythm that features new music from Agustus Mich (Voice of the Children), Detroit Avenue’s own Tenshon (Night Worker) and the previously released collaboration from Mikey General and Karamanti (Back Against the Wall).

With distribution from Zojak Worldwide, the 3D Riddim was officially publicized on January 18th and can now be streamed and downloaded from all digital music stores where reggae is sold.

On January 25th Carmor Production shared what some are calling arguably the most soulful reggae release so far in 2019, “Fire & Flames” by Duane Stephenson.

Duane Stephenson is one of those timeless artist who simply cannot be ignored because of his authenticity. On this new single, “Fire & Flames,” the artist comes across as prophetic as he warns about what will happen if we continue on this negative path that we are on as a society.

Jah Mason Kicks Off Reggae Month In Milan, Italy (@JahMasonMusic9)

On Saturday, February 2nd, Jah Mason will kick off reggae month with a performance at Leoncavallo Spazio Pubblico Autogestito (via Antoine Watteau, 7, 20125) in Milan, Italy. The event, known as ‘Run Di Danz,’ will also feature DJ sets from Vitowar, Serious Thing and the Calabash Crew.

Ruach Ru Partners With Hype TV For PON DI ENDZ (@RuachRu @Hypetvjamaica)

ruach hype tvRuach Ru and her team have entered into an agreement with one of Jamaica’s top entertainment network, Hype TV, for the January 30th reggae event PON DI ENDZ. The television station is now an official sponsor for the show task with the responsibility of assisting with promotions via their traditional and social media platforms.

PON DI ENDZ takes place this coming Wednesday, January 30th at Kgn10 Sports Bar & Grill – located at 1a Hillview Avenue (off Eastwood Park Road) – in Kingston, Jamaica.

The show will feature a mix of emerging and established reggae artists, namely: Chezidek, Mikey General, Michael Fabulous, Ruach Ru, Monifa Goss, Imar Shephard, Isha Bel, Brave Heart, Amaziyah, Jahbari, Asante Amen, Silkkey D and others. This is a 100% roots and culture show with backing bands The Spirit and Iyaah Bless.

Entrance at the gate is only $1,000 but everyone is free before 10 PM.
