Moe’s Alley (1535 Commercial Way) in Santa Cruz, California, will be hosting iconic reggae star Cocoa Tea on May 9th. This is a live band show that will see Cocoa Tea being supported by the Irie Rockers.

Doors will open at 8 PM and the show will begin at 9 PM. Advance tickets, which are going for $20 USD can be purchased HERE. Tickets will be $25 at the door.

Beres Hammond and CapletonThe DMV Summer Fest is an outdoor event promoting all genres of music and cultures, with a strong emphasis on Caribbean songs, food and lifestyle. The festival is put together by a few of the top promoters from the DMV area.

For the 2019 staging, the promoters have confirmed that Jamaica’s fireman, Capleton, alongside the king of lover’s-rock, Beres Hammond, will be performing. The festival will be held on Sun, July 28th, at the Lake Clifton Park (2701 St. Lo Drive) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Yoga on Dub,” an event dedicated to the practice of yoga and healthy living, will be held at La Clairière – bio & spahotel (located at 63, route d’Ingwiller 67290) in La Petite Pierre, Nord Alsace, France, from June 16th to the 22nd.

The organizers have invited yogi Jah9, who is also a popular Jamaican singer, to be the featured guest. “Yoga on Dub” aims to share a moment of mindfulness that combines the benefits of the forest (sylvotherapy), the practice of yoga, as well as the different forms of meditations and expressions of the arts.

Luciano To Headline “Reggae, Jazz & Blues Go Gospel” On May 5th In Jamaica (@jahmessenjah)

On Sunday, May 5th the St. Luke’s Anglican Church, which is located in Cross Roads, will be having a concert in order to raise money for their outreach programs. The event is being called “Reggae, Jazz & Blues – Go Gospel,” and it features performances by Luciano, Judy Mowatt, Leroy Sibbles and Marjorie Whylie. All artists will be backed by the world renown Fab 5 Band.

This event will take place at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium (Jamaica College) located at 189 Old Hope Road in Kingston. Starting time is 5 PM. Tickets, which are going for $2,500 JMD, can be purchased from Music Mart, Monarch RX and St. Luke’s.
