Black Uhuru, Etana & Others Will Celebrate Bob Marley’s 75th Birthday In California

On Friday, February 7th, Black Uhuru, Etana and Onesty will perform at the Longboard Margarita Bar in Pacifica, California in honor of Bob Marley’s 75th birthday celebration. Additional music support will be provided by DJ Silverback (Burial Ground Sound).

Doors will open at 8 PM and the actual performances will start at 9 PM. This a 21 and older event!

Freddie McGregor To Be Honored At The Icon Awards Next Month In Florida

The ‘Black History Meets Reggae Icon Awards’ will be held on Saturday, February 8th at the Miramar Cultural Arts Center (2400 Civic Center Place) in Miramar, Florida. This year’s honoree is international reggae singer, musician and producer Freddie McGregor.

The Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, The honorable Olivia “Babsy” Grange, will also be a special guest. The red carpet arrival and cocktail reception will commence at 6:30 PM. Though this is a free event, persons are encouraged to RSVP HERE.

The men are available for dates in all Schengen cities / countries, from mid July to early September, 2020.

Both Teacha Dee and Kass Smith are Jamaican reggae singers now residing in Europe and Mexico, who are very accomplished in their respective careers.

Teacha Dee is no stranger to the European roots reggae scene and has been hailed as one of the best live performers on the festival circuit. Since 2011 to the present day, Teacha Dee has been a headliner on several reggae festivals in France, Holland and Germany as well as within numerous clubs and concert halls across Europe.

With an ever growing concern for the energy imbalance on the planet and particularly in Jamaica, Kass Smith transmits a message of peace and well being through his music and the creation of abundance on all levels of consciousness. Etana has three dates in Australia this month! On Friday, January 17th she will be at the Red Rattler Theatre (6 Faversham Street) in Marrickville at 8:00 PM; on Saturday, January 18th she will perform at the annual Bob Marley Day Celebration, being held at Seaworks Maritime Precinct (82 Nelson Place) in Williamstown; and finally, on Sunday, January 19th it’s the BAR 204 at 204 Broadway in Reservoir. This show will run from 6:00 to 11:00 PM AEDT.
