Tonight, Friday, February 21st, Pluto Shervington will celebrate 50 years in music with a major concert at the Sport of Kings Theatre – Gulfstream Park – located at 501 Federal Highway, in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
Confirmed performers include: Third World, Inner Circle, Boris Gardiner, Ernie Smith, Carlene Davis, Code Red Band and of course, Pluto Shervington. Tommy Cowan will be the host for the evening. Starting time is 7:00 PM.
Veteran reggae artist Clinton Fearon will perform at Parker Place Abidjan (Rue Paul Langevin) in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Friday, February 28th. He will be supported by Kingston Gangstar.
This event is being presented by Yafoy Production and AZK Production. Show starts at 21:00 local time.
On Sunday, February 23rd, roots reggae artist Iba Mahr will do a live acoustic session at Plantation Smokehouse in St. Ann, Jamaica. He will be supported by The Harar Band.
This event, which is free to the public, is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM local time.
On Saturday, February 22nd, Wormbass will host his annual stageshow dubbed ‘Wormbass & Friends” at 22 Jerk (22 Barbican Road) in Kingston, Jamaica.
This year’s lineup includes reggae heavyweights Richie Spice, Admiral Tibet and The Congos among others.
On Wednesday, February 19th, international recording artist Tarrus Riley and his support team – Dean Fraser and the Black Soil Band – will perform at the Mayor’s Lounge (1318 E. Park Street) in St. Olathe, Kansas. Additional music will be provided by DJ Natty Rankz and Dynamq.
Doors will open at 8:00 PM and there is a $30 USD entrance fee at the gate.
The 2020 Melbourne Splash Festival will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at Seaworks – 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown – in Victoria, Australia. It is scheduled to run from 1:00 to 10:00 PM UTC.
One of the headlining acts for this year is international reggae / dancehall artist Anthony B.
Established roots reggae artist Warrior King is among those confirmed to perform at Nature Ellis‘ album launch on Monday, February 17th. The event will be held at KGN10 Sports Bar & Grill (1A Hillview Avenue) in Kingston, Jamaica from 6:00 PM local time.
Other artists that will be on the lineup are: Fred Locks, Ras Bogle, Paul Elliott, Gideon, Jah B, Nazamba, Oba Simba, Boom Dawn, Santina, Whitter, David Luther King, Steppa and Lash Larue.
