On Saturday, February 29th the 2020 Rockabessa Herbs & Reggae Music Festival will be held at Tropical Hut Race Course in Oracabessa, St. Mary, Jamaica. It will feature several speakers, panelists and performers.

Some of the artists that will be performing are Chezidek, Chuck Fender, Teflon, Amaziyah, Charlie Bobus, Skripcha, Black Queen and many more. This event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM and there is a $1,000 JMD entrance fee for adults and $200 JMD for children.

On Wednesday, April 1st, the black ark captain and dub originator, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, will perform at 24 Kitchen Street in Liverpool (UK).

This is an 18 and older event that’s schedule to run from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm local time.

New York based reggae artist, Dan IJ, who started the year with the re-release of his now popular song, “New Beginning,” will be hitting the stage tonight, Saturday, February 22nd! He is scheduled to perform at the ‘Kush Wednesday’s Anniversary‘ concert, which will be held at the  Caribbean & American Entertainment Center (1640 Nostrand Ave.) in Brooklyn, New York.

In addition to doing a lot of shows in and around New York, Dan IJ is also engaged in an aggressive promo campaign as he is currently promoting the aforementioned song.

Veteran Reggae Artists Mikey General, King Yellow Man, Freddie McGregor & Others To Perform At The ‘One Love Jamaica Concert’ Today!

Today, Saturday, February 22nd, starting at 10 AM, is the ‘One Love Jamaica Concert‘ at the Tony Spaulding Stadium in Arnett Gardens, St. Andrew, Jamaica.

This event will feature a slew of top-tier reggae artists, namely; Mikey General, King Yellow Man, Freddie McGregor, Horace Andy, Josey Wales, Paul Elliott, Triston Palmer, Little John, Errol Dunkley and so much more.

The ‘One Love Jamaica Concert‘ is being presented by Big Stone Records in association with Power House Records.

On February 12th, the Italian label, Soulove Records, shared the official video for the first single from their upcoming project, Tsadiq Collection vol 6. The song is “A New Race” performed by veteran reggae artist Cédric Myton.

Etana, Richie Stephens & Others To Represent Reggae At The ‘Rhythms Of Africa’ Concert On Feb. 29th

Rhythms of Africa – Music Around the World concert will be held on Saturday, February 29th at the Charles F. Dodge City Center (601 City Center Way) in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

As the name implies, this event features performers of various musical genres of African descent. Etana, Willie Stewart, Pluto Shervington and Richie Stephens are all on deck to deliver and represent reggae music.
