This Friday, May 8th, Iba Mahr will be the featured guest on Ghetto Youths International’s Fan Linkup. It is expected that he will shed some light on the just released single, “Stay Positive,” which is produced by Stephen Marley.

The Fan Linkup will be streamed live via Ghetto Youths International’s Instagram account. It is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM (JA time).

Canadian Music Week 2020 Now Cancelled! (@CMW_Week)

After initially rescheduling from May to September in the early weeks of the COVID-19 crisis, Canadian Music Week 2020 is now officially cancelled. CMW CEO Danya Dixon emailed conference and festival attendees last night, May 4th, to confirm the news.

All ticketed concerts have been refunded or are in the process of being refunded, according to CMW.

International recording artist Anthony B kicked off the month of May with the release of his new album, “King In My Castle.”

The project, which is on the Born Fire Music label, has a total of nineteen (19) songs and five (5) collaborations. The five combinations are with the following artists: Chantal, Zamunda, Pressure, Japanese and Kerri.

On April 30th, veteran dancehall deejay Lady G launched her new YouTube channel. She consequently uploaded a lot of older videos, some of which we are not even familiar with.

Nadine Sutherland Back In The Spotlight With Trending New Single “Chatty Chatty” (@Nadinesutherlan)

In early February, Danger Zone Music Group released the Reggae Lover Riddim, which features new songs from some of the biggest artists in the reggae – dancehall industry: Jah Vinci, Louie Culture, Romain Virgo etc. Despite all the heavy hitters on the project, it’s Nadine Sutherland‘s single, “Chatty Chatty,” that has emerged as the standout track on this album.

The song began getting steady rotation the minute it came out and has gradually grown to a now trending status. A few days ago Sutherland dropped the official music video, which means that the record will continue to  surge.
