KashieF Lindo Takes Us Into The Dancehall With The Visualizer For “Ram It Ram”

A few weeks ago reggae artist KashieF Lindo released Ram It Ram, a mellow track that accurately outlines what it’s like to attend a properly promoted dancehall session. The singer is now following up with a visualizer that uses actual clips from some of Jamaica’s most popular weekly parties.

The main videos used in the visualizer are from Stone Love‘s Weddy Weddy WednesdayBoom Tuesdays and Uptown Mondays. It also features images from some sporadic events that had to be included because of there relevance to the song’s lyrical content.

Ram It Ram was written by legendary reggae producer Willie Lindo (KashieF‘s father), and it was produced by musical giants Sly and Robbie.

Listen & Download New EP From 2 Of A Kind “She’s Bad”

Reggae duo, brothers: Shane and Shawn – publicly known as 2 Of A Kind – have released an EP titled She’s Bad. The men, who have been active in the industry since 2004, stepped away from the music scene in 2014 to attend medical school. While there, they studied respiratory therapy and have since received their license allowing them to work therapeutically with people suffering from acute critical conditions, cardiac and pulmonary disease.

Despite their many achievements outside of music, 2 Of A Kind‘s sincere love for authentic reggae acted as the catalyst for them returning. Additionally, they became concern about being away from the public’s eye for too long. That said, the brothers spent the last two years in and out of studios in South Florida working on the songs featured on this new EP.

The tracks on She’s Bad are all about their desire and admiration for women, with the exception of Kudos Mama – track one – which is about their love, respect and appreciation for one very special lady; their mother. Persons that have contributed to the project are: Hugene Grey (lead guitar), Fiona (harmony singer), Ipaul (beats, basslines and audio engineer), Clive Bull (production), Danny Breakenridge (production) and 2 Of A Kind, who also produced three of the songs.

She’s Bad was officially released on June 4, 2021, via Kindem Music, 2 Of A Kind‘s own record label. According to the brothers, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with many people highlighting the title track as their favorite.

Jah Cure Releases The Lyric Video For “You Can’t See My Soul” (@ReggaeVibesMus1)

In the midst of his current trial – no pun intended – and tribulation, Jah Cure is now sharing the lyric video for his song featured on the recently released Rock All Riddim. The tune is titled You Can’t See My Soul, and after carefully listening to the words the consensus among several of his fans and supporters is that he seems to be struggling with a lot of demons.

The Rock All Riddim, which is produced by Reggae Vibes Music, was released at the end of August. This means that Jah Cure‘s song would have been written and recorded long before that date, giving the production team sufficient time to mix and master it. However, the lyrics in the song gives the impression that it was authored after his arrest in the Netherlands.

For those not familiar with the story; the beloved reggae singer is currently facing charges on the primary suspicion of attempted murder, as well as attempted manslaughter and aggravated assault after an altercation with a promoter in Amsterdam at the beginning of October.

However, “Let he without sin cast the first stone.” These are words uttered by Jah Cure in You Can’t See My Soul

With the lyric video now out on YouTube it is becoming apparent that despite his difficult upbringing Jah Cure has been trying – challenging as it maybe – to become a better man. Our only hope is that his arrest in Europe does not deter that.
