The “Love & Harmony Reggae Cruise” Announces 2022 Return
The annual Love & Harmony Reggae Cruise will set sail again in April, 2022. They have committed to six days and fives nights; departing from Fort Lauderdale in Florida with stops in Nassau, Bahamas and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Departure date is April 2nd.
Artists that have been confirmed so far are: Beenie Man, Cocoa Tea, Edwin Yearwood, Nadine Sutherland, Beres Hammond, Wayne Wonder and Buju Banton. Click here for additional information.
Kristine Alicia’s “Roots Rock Reggae” Getting A Lot Of Support From Local DJs (@kristinealicia)
Jamaican singer/songwriter Kristine Alicia, who is now based in America, has recorded a masterpiece for Upstairs Music‘s latest compilation: The Train Is Coming Riddim. The aforementioned statement cannot be denied given the support the song, titled Roots Rock Reggae, has been getting from local selectors. Even music critics located in Jamaica who have heard the tune are in agreement that it is a potential hit.
On the record, Kristine Alicia who comes from a very strong musical background, uses her powerful vocals to celebrate authentic reggae music. She does this, while simultaneously highlighting several inefficiencies within the global black community. Reggae DJs, primarily those based in the United States, have gotten behind the track, giving it regular rotation on their respective platforms.
In addition to Kristine Alicia‘s Roots Rock Reggae, The Train Is Coming Riddim – which is now available on all streaming platforms – also features music from Wayne Armond, Screwdriver, Ken Boothe, Hezron, Dwight Pinkney, AJ Brown, 2 Of A Kind, Glen Washington, Bagga Case, Marcia Ball, Skatta, Kehv, Dheapblu and Yishka.
Snatcha Lion Releases New Video “You Rule” (@ReggaeVibesMus1)
Snatcha Lion, the brother of musical greats Richie Spice, Spanner Banner and Pliers, has just shared the visuals for his new single, You Rule. The song is featured on the Rock All Riddim, released on August 27, 2021, via Reggae Vibes Music.
Although You Rule is a lovers-rock reggae tune it does have snippets of dancehall, as Lion delivers his message using a combination of both singing and deejaying styles. On the record, he professes not just his love for his lady but also his commitment to ensuring that she remains a priority in his life;
regardless of what others are saying.
The song’s official video premiered on Reggaeville’s YouTube platform yesterday, October 19. The visuals were captured by Phoenix Studios JA at Hope Gardens in Kingston and Richard Brown Films in Negril. Editing was done by Reggae Vibes Media – a subsidiary of Reggae Vibes Music.
Skip Marley Confirmed For Half-Time Performance At The Jamaica Vs Costa Rica Women’s Match On Sunday
This Sunday, October 24th, Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz will take on Costa Rica’s women’s team in a friendly match at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The game is scheduled to begin at 4pm (local time).

Iba Mahr Will Perform At Reggae Takeova’s 5 Year Anniversary In Massachusetts This Sunday (@IbaMaHr)
Reggae Takeover, a reggae movement operating in the Boston area, will be celebrating their five-year anniversary this Sunday, October 24, at La Fabrica Central (450 Massachusetts Ave) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The organizers have invited Rastafarian reggae artist Iba Mahr to help them celebrate this momentous occasion. As such, Mahr will be on hand and is expected to deliver a solid live performance.
Ken Boothe Collaborates With Geneva’s Green System On New Single (@GreenSystemBand)
At the end of October, Green System, a reggae group based in Geneva, Switzerland, will be releasing a sixteen-track album titled Outlines. The record features collaborations with two of Jamaica’s reggae ambassadors: Luciano and Ken Boothe.
