Wayne Marshall to Headline Artisan Village Food Festival in Falmouth

The Artisan Village at Falmouth will host its Food Festival on Thursday, August 6, running from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Gate 5, Port of Falmouth.

Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), and produced by Kaboom Nation, the event will feature more than 40 food vendors and artisans showcasing local cuisine and craftsmanship. Attendees can expect a full day of family-friendly entertainment, a free Kiddies Village, exciting giveaways, and interactive experiences designed for all ages.

Adding to the day’s excitement, dancehall entertainer Wayne Marshall is set to headline the entertainment lineup with a live performance.

Jamaican reggae and inspirational dancehall artist Kurtiouss is encouraging listeners around the world to embrace purpose, perseverance, and positivity through his latest studio album, Addicted to Greatness, released on January 17, 2026 via his own Wrays Production.

Available on major streaming platforms worldwide, the 16-track, 56-minute project offers something for listeners of all ages. Original Dancehall Thursdays Returns to Club MECA on August 3

Dancehall fans in Kingston are in for a nostalgic night as Original Dancehall Thursdays takes over Club MECA on Monday, August 3, 2026, as part of the venue’s 27th Anniversary Celebrations.

The event will feature appearances by several well-known names from Jamaica’s dancehall scene, including Pinky Famous, Nitty Kutchie, General B, Little John, Peter Metro, Oneil Famous, and Bunny General. Patrons can also expect an energetic musical presentation from Outlaw International, DJ Ross Music, Chill Ups, and Metro Media.

2026 Edmonton Love & Unity Reggae Festival

Reggae lovers in Alberta are invited to gather for the 2026 Edmonton Love & Unity Reggae Festival on Saturday, August 15, at the Heritage Amphitheatre in William Hawrelak Park. Presented by the Edmonton Reggae Festival Society in collaboration with Miss Diva Music, this is a family-friendly event.

Confirmed performers include Jamaican reggae star Turbulence, backed by the Powerhouze Band, along with Miss Diva, Donna Makeda, Empress Divine, Rammadon, and Saint & the Full 100 Band. 26th Annual Tri-State Family Fun Festival Set for August 9 at Heckscher State Park

Conroy Allison and Irie Jam Radio will present the 26th Annual Tri-State Family Fun Festival on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Heckscher State Park, Pavilion #2, in East Islip, Long Island. Now in its 26th year, the festival has become a staple of the Caribbean community’s summer calendar in the tri-state area.

Headlining the festival will be a live performance from reggae superstar Leroy Sibbles. The event will also honor legendary bass player and reggae band leader Derrick Barrnett with a Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his lasting contributions to the genre.

Raleigh Reggae Fest Returns August 14th with Tarrus Riley, Charly Black, and Vanessa Bling

Raleigh’s Caribbean community is gearing up for a major celebration this summer as Raleigh Reggae Fest takes over Enigma on Friday, August 14th. The event is presented by a coalition of organizations including RDACA, Paradise Ent, Idread Vision, Nuvo, and RDU Caribbean Vybz.

Headlining the festival is reggae veteran Tarrus Riley, joined by fellow performers Charly Black and Vanessa Bling. Rounding out the night’s musical talent are DJ Stylez, Peter Blaze, and Bigkat.
