This Thanksgiving weekend – November 26th through the 29th – beloved Jamaican comedian, Oliver Samuels, will star in a comedy special that will air on Jamaica Online Television. Samuels will be joined by other popular comedians for this pay-per-view show, which is similar to his hit TV series ‘Oliver at Large.’

Dean Fraser To Release “Nyabinghi Christmas” Album

Roots reggae lovers will be getting a special Christmas gift from master saxophonist and producer, Dean Fraser. He will be releasing an album, dubbed “Nyabinghi Christmas,” which will feature songs like “When a Child is Born,” “Santa Ketch Up Inna Mango Tree,” “Feliz Navidad” and others, all arranged against Rasta-influenced drumming.

Bugle Is Living His “Best Life” (@BugleAn9ted)

Reggae sing-jay Bugle is letting it be known that he is indeed living his “Best Life.” In mid October the Rasta man dropped a new song on the Pure Time Riddim, which was immediately followed by the song’s official video at the end of the month.

On the Record, titled “Best Life,” Bugle conveys the message that it’s not about having name brands or living the fast life, but instead it’s about always remaining humble while giving God thanks for the little or much that we have. Ding Dong Releases Hilarious Video For “Stray” (@Dingdongravers1)

About a month ago Landmark Records released the “Child’s Play Riddim.” The bouncy dancehall project features new music from Demarco, Ding Dong, I Octane and several other artists.

This past Saturday Ding Dong shared the official video for his song, “Stray,” and it has the dancehall community on edge wanting more. The visuals, like the song, tells the story of a man who links up with a woman who he thought was single, but found out she was not after her baby father catches them at her house. It is very hilarious.

Busy Signal Shares Short Film For His New Single “Seen It Before” (@busysignal_turf)

A few hours ago (on November 6th) Busy Signal uploaded an approximately nine-minute long video done as a short film for his new song, “Seen It Before.” The track, which is on the VP Records label, is about the increasing number of youths that are joining gangs and living a life of crime and violence.
