Bling Dawg Shares Another Single From His Upcoming Album “YO!”

A few days ago Bling Dawg shared what he is calling the first single from his upcoming album, Elev8. I say that because he has released a couple of songs before and announced different dates, but the album is yet to be published.

Stephen & Damian Marley To Headline Reggae Rise Up Festival In October

The 2021 Florida edition of Reggae Rise Up Festival will be held at Vinoy Park (701 Bayshore Drive NE) in St. Petersburg, Florida, from October 21st through to the 24th. The event organizers are promising four days of amazing music, food, merchandise, art, activities and overall good vibes.

Among the headlining acts are Stephen Marley, who is slated to perform on Thursday, October 21 and Damian Jr. Gong Marley, who will do his set on Friday, the 22nd. Tickets for this festival can be purchased HERE.

Sone G Shares New Single “Spirit A Move” (@_Soneofficial)

Dancehall-gospel artist Sone G is today sharing his brand new single, Spirit A Move. The hardcore upbeat track is on the Different Riddim compilation, which also features new music from Papa San, Jason Mighty, Rian Davis and others. The entire project is powered by Canadian based record label, Heavenly Waves Productions.

For his part, Sone G, who is arguably one of the most underrated dancehall-gospel artist, uses his song to affirm his faith in the Lord. And being the consummate lyricist, he pulls from popular 90s dancehall songs for familiar melodies, while staying consistent with his message of righteousness.

Dancehall Artist Peppery Collaborates With Australian Label On “Vibe Machine” (@pepperyworld)

At the end of July, Raw Tactics Records, an Australian based musical imprint that’s focused on electronic dance music, released Vibe Machine. The song, which was initially shared to help listeners get through the lockdowns that were in effect at the time, is now getting heavy rotation in areas where restrictions have since eased.

Vibe Machine is produced by popular DJs / producers Tigs and Dubzta, with dancehall artist Peppery delivering the vocals. Persons have described the tune as a modern house track fused with Caribbean sounds. On the beat, Peppery who is the quintessential lyricist lamented on his desire to party, while encouraging women of all races to join him. The song was mastered by Klaus Heavyweight Hill (Australia) and the vocals were processed by Zemon.

Never being one to rest, Peppery is now focused on his next project, which is the Restart Riddim being produced by Jamaican label Blakkwuman22 Music. He is currently writing for the compilation that is slated to be released this Fall.

The Skatalites Will Be Back At Moe’s Alley On Sept. 26

Veteran reggae band, The Skatalites, is among the list of confirmed acts slated to perform at Moe’s Alley in September. They are booked for Sunday, the 26th, with a starting time of 7PM. Moe’s Alley is located at 1535 Commercial Way in Santa Cruz, California.

This is a twenty-one and older event; and tickets, which starts at $25 USD, are now available online.

Last week Ziggy Marley, world renowned Jamaican musician and philanthropist, shared the official video for his single Lift Our Spirits, Raise Our Voice. The song was officially released on May 7th of this year via Tuff Gong Worldwide.

While sharing the link to the video on his social media platforms, Ziggy said the following: “So joyful to share this with everyone today. We woke up one and said hey let’s do a video.
