“You Are Beautiful“ is Pearl Cutten’s second release from her upcoming EP ‘Fragments Of My Soul.’ The song is inspired by Pearl’s diverse cultural and religious background, which has not only enriched her life but has also challenged her free spirit. 

According to Pearl; “respect, humanity and love for one another is the greatest love of all so if you choose to call that higher love God or something else, it really does not matter because it is these values that make you beautiful as a human being.”

About Pearl Cutten

Born in Botswana to a native mother and an Indian father, Pearl moved to Denmark when she was 14 years old due to her Danish stepfather. She originally started making music as a teenager to combat loneliness but it quickly became her chosen path in life. As music started occupying most of her creative time, Pearl developed her skills in several different genres: R&B, soul, jazz, house and afrobeat. 

After she moved to Aarhus she still maintained strong links with her people in Botswana despite being far apart. Now settled in Denmark, she has perfected her skills in soul, afro and jazz, and regularly performs on local shows, as well as at special events in and around Europe.

In honor of Black Music Month, iHeartRadio, Keith Sweat, Teddy Riley and Omnis are hosting a concert series featuring some of the biggest R&B artists each and every Friday. The first episode kicked off on May 22nd with 112 and Next.

This Friday, May 29th, will feature Pretty Ricky, Bobby V and Lloyd. The show starts at 8:00 PM EST and it will stream on KSWEATLIVE DOT COM. This series will continue through June.

R&B artist Ro James will be releasing his new album, “Mantic,” which is currently available for pre-order, on May 29th. That being said, the single “Too Much,” done in collaboration with Miguel, is out now!

“Dear Class of 2020” is a virtual  celebration designed to bring  inspirational leaders, celebrities, and YouTube creators together to honor graduates and their families. It will stream live via YouTube on Saturday, June 6th, starting at 12 PM PST.

The commencement speakers include, among others, former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. There will also be special appearances by Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington and several others.

A few days ago R&B star Anthony Hamilton released his new single titled “Back Together.” The love song features legendary singer / songwriter Rick James, with production credits going to 9th Wonder.

With an onslaught of updates about the corona virus pandemic dominating the airwaves, many people may have missed the news about the passing of two R&B legends: Betty Wright and Little Richard.

Betty Wright, who is known for hits like ‘thank you for the many things you’ve done’ and ‘no pain no gain,’ died from cancer on Sunday, May 10th at her home in Miami. She was 66 years young.

As for Little Richard, he passed away on Saturday, May 9th, from complications related to bone cancer. He was 87.

A few hours ago India.Arie premiered the visuals for Crazy and Sacred Space, two of the songs featured on her 2019 Worthy album. Both clips were released together, as one, in the form of a short film titled Welcome Home.
