As the covid-19 numbers continue to decrease in the United States, the organizers of the 2021 BET Awards have announced that the show will be live and in-person. It will take place on Sunday, June 27th, at the Microsoft Theater (located at 777 Chick Hearn Ct) in Los Angeles, California.
That being said, they’re actively encouraging everyone that will be attending to ensure that they get vaccinated before the event.
Jamaica’s first virtual jazz event, Jazz On The Duke, is set to take place on Sunday, June 6th. This is an event that happens annually along the downtown corridor of Duke Street in Kingston, Jamaica. It showcases local and international jazz talents via various digital platforms.
The 2021 staging will see master vocalist Tony Gregory, vibraphonist Melvin Williams and JUS Jazz, as well as vocal stylist Keisha Patterson and the JaMM Repertory Ensemble.
Macy Gray, the multitalented R&B / soul singer-songwriter, producer and actress, has announced that she will be doing three virtual concerts in the coming weeks. The first is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th, the second will be on Sunday, June 6th and the final one is set for Sunday, June 13th.

Pop artist Alicia Keys‘ highly anticipated world tour has once again been pushed back. It was initially scheduled for 2020, but had to be postponed because of the pandemic. At the time we were told that it will take place in 2021, but now we are being informed that it will not happen until next year.
As it stands right now, the Alicia World Tour should kick off in early June, 2022 in the United Kingdom and wrap up at the end of September, 2022 in the United States. So far there are confirmed dates in Europe, the UK, America and Canada.
The 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, will see its most diverse list of inductees in the history of the organization. This year’s inductees are:
