R&B artist Monica will be one of the main headlining acts for the upcoming Atlanta R&B Holiday Jam concert on Saturday, December 18. She will be joined by Bell Biv Devoe, Xscape, Silk, Tevin Campbell, Ginuwine and Jacquees.
The show will take place at the State Farm Arena (1 State Farm Drive) in Atlanta, Georgia, commencing at 7:30pm (local time). Tickets, which starts at $60 USD are available via ticketmaster.

It has just been brought to our attention that Jamaican jazz pianist Monty Alexander will play at Tarrytown Music Hall, located at 13 Main Street in Tarrytown, New York, on Friday, November 26th.
The show is slated to begin at approximately 6:30pm (local time), and all patrons should know that the venue requires proof of covid-19 vaccination for entry.
Afro R&B/soul artist Nneka will be performing in Nairobi this Saturday, October 30th, starting at 5pm (local time). The concert will be at held at Two Grapes – Wine & Friends, located on George Padmore Road – Kilimani.

America’s Black Entertainment Television (BET) has recently announced that the 33rd staging of the Soul Train Awards will take place at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York for the very first time. The show, which is all about celebrating the best in soul, R&B and hip-hop will premiere on Sunday, November 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on both BET and BET Her.
According to Kamilah Forbes, the executive producer at the Apollo; they are very happy to join forces with BET to host this event, as it represents black excellence and black culture.

However, in the midst of platinum selling albums, multiple Grammy Awards, and sold-out world tours he left the public eye as a result of the pressures of success, only to return out of nowhere with a landmark soundtrack of his lost years.
Now his fans are being invited into his world via a digital stage presentation of the acclaimed documentary Devil’s Pie at the Apollo Theatre on November 4th. It has never been widely screened for New York audiences. Following the presentation, there will be a conversation with ImageNation’s co-founder Moikgantsi Kgama and the film’s director Carine Bijlsma.
