The “Who Is Jill Scott?” 20th Anniversary Tour Returns Next Year (@missjillscott)

In early 2020 before covid-19 forced us indoors, American soul singer and songwriter Jill Scott was engaged in a nationwide tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album, Who Is Jill Scott?. Unfortunately, it was cut short, as containing the pandemic became the priority.

Now that the virus is behind us, Scott has announced that she will resume the tour in February, 2023. Below are the announced dates and location.

Ginuwine, Hi-Five & Others Will Join Bobby Brown For The 90s R&B All Black Party In Baltimore

On Friday, December 30th some of the biggest names in 90s rhythm and blues will converge at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena – 1000 Hilltop Circle – in Baltimore, Maryland, for a classic All Black Party dubbed Ladies Night.

The R&B Music Experience Will Be In Louisiana This Week

The R&B Music Experience continues this week, stopping next at the Brookshire Grocery Arena – 2000 Brookshire Arena Drive – in Bossier City, Louisiana, on Friday, December 9th. There will be performances by Monica, Bell Biv Devoe, Xscape, Tamar Braxton, 112 and Silk.

This event is scheduled to start at 8pm, and tickets can be purchased via ticketmaster.

Gramps Morgan Shares New Video From His “Deeper” EP (@grampsmorgan)

In September of this year, Gramps Morgan – a member of the international reggae group Morgan Heritage – released a six-track EP titled Deeper. The project can appropriately be classified as soul music fused with Caribbean rhythms, done in acoustic style.

Dionne Warwick Performs At Blue Note Hawaii Tonight! (@dionnewarwick)

Dionne Warwick, the American singer, actress, and television host – who was ranked among the 40 biggest U.S. hit makers between 1955 and 1999 – will perform her megahits at Blue Note (2335 Kalakaua Avenue) in Honolulu, Hawaii tonight. This is the first of four back-to-back shows starring the second-most charted female vocalist during the rock era.

Regina Belle & Ken Ford Will Perform At Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club On Saturday (@IAmReginaBelle)

Singer-songwriter Regina Belle – who rose to prominence in the late 80s/early 90s with hitsongs Baby Come To Me and Make It Like It Was – will perform at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club (7719 Wisconsin Avenue) in Bethesda, Maryland this Saturday, December 3rd.
