On October 18th, Jadakiss (1/3 of the legendary hip-hop group The Lox) released a short film titled ME. The visuals show actors Peter Greene and Hassan Johnson as well as Jadakiss involved in a robbery and then an internal act of betrayal.

Jamaica’s most respected comedian, Oliver Samuels, along with his co-stars: Volier Johnson, Dennis Titus, Lakeisha Ellison and Sharee Elise, will present their stage play, “Crazy but True,” on October 5th and 6th in Georgia. Mary J. Blige has signed a first-look TV deal with Lionsgate to develop and produce television series via her newly launched Blue Butterfly Productions Company. Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. is a global content platform that brings films, television series, movies etc. to audiences all over the world.

Recording artist, Amaziyah, will be hosting his annual Star F.A.M.E festival, which is committed to highlighting artists, poets and actors, this Sunday, July 7th. The event will take place at Foundation HQ in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica, from 10 AM to 8 PM.

After two straight days of inconsistent internet service from Flow, impacted Kingston residents are abandoning the telecommunications giant for what they say is a more reliable service from Digicel.
It has been brought to our attention that Flow servers have gone down on a number of occasions throughout the month of May, making it impossible for persons who need internet access for work/school to get anything done.
One Kingston 19 resident told us that “his loyalty is to the company that is able give him good service and seeing as though he’s not getting any service from Flow, they are not in the running.” We reached out to Flow’s customer service office before preparing this article and were told that at least 5,000 homes in Kingston have been negatively impacted as a result of their servers going down.
