Hip-Hop and R&B lovers in California are in for a treat! On Friday, August 30th, mega stars Nelly, TLC and Flo Rida will all be performing at the Shoreline Amphitheatre – located at 1 Amphitheatre Parkway – in Mountain View, California.

The event, which is being hosted by Q102, will begin at 7 PM and go until 10 PM. Tickets are available from as low as $18 USD via Live Nation.

The REVOLT Summit, which was created to bring hip-hop artists, creators and executives together to celebrate the culture and empower the community, will be held in Atlanta, Georgia from September 12th through 14th.

Last week the organizers unveiled the first wave of speakers, which includes: T.I., Coach K, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, Jermaine Dupri, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Ester Dean and more. The three-day experience is dedicated to equipping young leaders with the right gems to succeed in the Hip Hop business.

Ankh Marketing presents hip-hop greats Ghostface Killah and Raekwon at The Midway (900 Marin Street) in San Francisco on Saturday. August 31st. Both men will be supported by Locksmith with DJ True Justice, as well as female rapper Saroc.

In addition to the live performances there will also be an art display by Apexer; plus D-Sharp, Big Von, Apollo, Red Corvette, Mr. E., Sean G, Supreme and more will be on the turn-tables.

Moe’s Alley (1535 Commercial Way, Santa Cruz, CA) welcomes back Bay Area hip-hop greats BLACKALICIOUS on Saturday, September 21st, as they celebrate their 20 year anniversary. They will be supported by special guests Alwa Gordon and DJ Kikkoman.

In a hip-hop career that has spanned two decades, Blackalicious has earned respect the old-fashioned way; rising through honesty, commitment, and artistry. The American hip hop duo from Sacramento, California is made up of rapper Gift of Gab (born Tim Parker) and DJ/producer Chief Xcel (born Xavier Mosley). They are noted for Gift of Gab’s often “tongue-twisting,” multisyllabic, complex rhymes and Chief Xcel’s “classic” beats.
