Jamaican recording artist Koffee, who literally had the music industry caught up in her rapture last year, kicks off 2020 on a high note. She has been added to the lineup of the Vewtopia Music Festival, which will be held at Marlins Park (501 Marlins Way) in Miami, Florida from January 31st to February 1st.
Koffee will share the stage with Cardi B, Burna Boy, Jeremih, DJ Khaled, Afro B and many more.
Veteran hip-hop artist CL Smooth is back in a major way! The lyricist not only released new material in 2019 but he was also consistently doing shows and making public appearances.
CL is taking his momentum with him into 2020, as he’s confirmed for The Gramercy Theatre (127 E 23rd Street) in New York on Tuesday, January 28th. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM (local time) and the entrance fee ranges from $22 to $45 USD.
Jimmy Lee is the fifth studio album by American R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Raphael Saadiq. It was released on August 23rd, 2019 by Columbia Records. Legendary hip-hop MC Slick Rick will do a set at the Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Avenue) in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday, January 10th. The show will also feature DJ Kaos & The Slickettes, as well as an opening set by Intelligenz.
The doors are scheduled to open at 6:00 PM, but the actual show time is not until 8:30 PM.
The 20th anniversary of Yasiin Bey‘s “Black On Bothsides” will be celebrated at the Paradiso (Weteringschans 6-8, 1017SG) in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Thursday, January 16th, 2020. The event will see Bey performing the record in its entirety from 7:00 to 11:00 PM UTC.
The movie, ‘A Family Christmas Gift’, will premier on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Network on Monday, December 23rd at 1:00 PM.
