Jamaican star Koffee has announced that she will be taking part in the Co-Trilla Quarantine Sessions, which is a three-day online music festival.
It will be streamed from April 10th to 12th via the Co-Trilla YouTube channel. Koffee is scheduled for Friday, April 10th at 6PM EDT.
Usher‘s brand new video for the single “Don’t Waste My Time,” done as a collaboration with Ella Mai, is out now! Two versions of the visuals were released via his YouTube channel: a long clip on March 25th and a shorter cut on April 1st.

There are a lot of uncertainty about what the world will be like after COVID19. Every industry, without exception, has been severely impacted by the spread of the corona virus. The music industry in particular has suffered financially, with all shows, tours, bars, nightclubs, festivals etc. cancelled and closed.
Some may assume that it is just the more popular artists that are affected by these cancellations, but that is not the case. We must remember that there are literally thousands of persons working behind the scenes who have now all lost their employment, hence their income.
With that being said, we must now face our new reality, as we ponder the question; what’s next? What will the music industry be like when all this is over with? Will festivals resume as they were before? Will the masses flock to live shows as aggressively as they did in the past? I think the answer depends on two things: 1) how long this pandemic last and 2) the financial and moral status of the people when it’s all over.
On Thursday, March 26th, R&B star Alicia Keys published the official remix to her now popular hit song “Underdog.” The singer invited two of Jamaica’s top reggae artists – Chronixx and Protoje – to be featured on the new version.

On Friday, March 27th, Troyton Music released a new R&B track titled “Over Again.” The song is performed by pop artist Ne-Yo and Jamaican dancehall star Charly Black. Music critics are already making predictions about the record; the consensus seems to be that it will be just as, or bigger than Party Animal.

Now that a lot of artists are unable to travel for work (perform), they’re focusing on other income streams. Koffee, the young Jamaican MC who had a massive 2019, is inviting her fans and supporters to check out her digital store.

With so many events being postponed and / or cancelled we are praying that this one goes on. The Old School Hip-Hop Fest is still scheduled for Saturday, June 6th at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre – 5239 Floyd Rd SW – in Mableton, Georgia.
