U.S. based female MC Sa-Roc, who is known and respected for her lyrical prowess, has announced that Jamaican reggae artist Chronixx will be featured on her upcoming album. With Sa-Roc being a hip-hop lyricist and Chronixx a roots singer this should make for an interesting collaboration.

The album, titled “The Sharecropper’s Daughter,” is scheduled for release on Friday, October 2nd.

Earlier today – August 12th – hip-hop artist Sa-Roc shared a new video, while simultaneously announcing that her next album, titled “The Sharecropper’s Daughter,” will be released on October 2nd.

American presidential nominee, Joe Biden, earlier today announced that he has selected Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate for VP. For those not familiar with Senator Harris, she is a politician serving as the junior Senator from the State of California since 2017.

On a personal level, Harris is the daughter of an immigrant father from Jamaica and an immigrant mother from India. As a Jamaica based platform, we here at Maria Jackson Magazine are excited about this choice and we are fully endorsing the Biden-Harris ticket.
