Macy Gray Kicks Off The Summer With 3 Virtual Concerts (@MacyGraysLife)

Macy Gray, the multitalented R&B / soul singer-songwriter, producer and actress, has announced that she will be doing three virtual concerts in the coming weeks. The first is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th, the second will be on Sunday, June 6th and the final one is set for Sunday, June 13th.

Alicia Keys’ World Tour Rescheduled For 2022! (@aliciakeys)

Pop artist Alicia Keys‘ highly anticipated world tour has once again been pushed back. It was initially scheduled for 2020, but had to be postponed because of the pandemic. At the time we were told that it will take place in 2021, but now we are being informed that it will not happen until next year.

As it stands right now, the Alicia World Tour should kick off in early June, 2022 in the United Kingdom and wrap up at the end of September, 2022 in the United States. So far there are confirmed dates in Europe, the UK, America and Canada.

Olamidé’s New Album Will Be Released On June 14th (@Olamide)

Nigerian artist Olamidé has shared audio and visuals for Rock, the first single from his forthcoming album, UY Scuti. The 10-track LP, Olamidé’s third new music project in just over a year, is set for release on June 14th through a partnership between his own YBNL Nation imprint and U.S. indie powerhouse, Empire.

The album finds Olamidé pulling inspiration from dancehall and reggae, as well as amapiano and alté, to create an intimate, highly personal soundtrack. Rising Nigerian beatmaker Eskeez handles the lion’s share of production on UY Scuti.

Black Thought, M1 & Sa-Roc All Confirmed For The Environmental Justice Summit This Thursday (@HipHopforChang3)

Hip-Hop For Change will be hosting the fifth annual Environmental Justice Summit on Thursday, May 20th. The entire event will live stream via zoom and Facebook starting at 2PM PST.

In addition to the panel discussions and keynote speeches, there will also be live performances by Black Thought (from The Roots), M1 (from Dead Prez), Sa-Roc, Eastshore Highway and others.

The Roots’ “Do You Want More” Deluxe Edition To Be Released On June 25th (@theroots)

On June 25th The Roots‘ major label debut, “Do You Want More,” will get the deluxe vinyl reissue treatment. It will be re-released in a limited 4LP set. The package comes complete with a booklet featuring never-before-seen photos and stories, all curated by Questlove.

Tekno Remakes “Enjoy” With Mafikizolo & Shares Visuals (@alhajitekno @MafikizoloSA)

In November of last year, afro-pop artist Tekno released the single Enjoy via the Universal Music label. Much like most of his other records, it became an instant hit, so much so that it triggered a remix. The new version is done with South African musical duo Mafikizolo.

The 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, will see its most diverse list of inductees in the history of the organization. This year’s inductees are:
