Beyoncé Drops 2 New Videos Over The Weekend (@Beyonce)

On Saturday Beyoncé uploaded two new videos for tracks featured on her The Lion King: The Gift (Deluxe Edition) album released a year ago. The visuals are for Otherside, track number-eleven and Mood 4 Eva, track number-six.

As she has always done, Beyoncé went over and above to create two short films that each represent their respective song to perfection. Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak Deliver New Silk Sonic Track “Skate” (@silksonic)

On Thursday Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, now collectively known as Silk Sonic, shared the follow up to their hit single Leave The Door Open. The new record, titled Skate, is the second song from their upcoming album, which does not yet have a confirmed release date.

Nas Announces The Release Date For “King’s Disease II” (@Nas)

The global hip-hop community is in a frenzy after learning that Nas will be releasing a follow up to his Grammy-winning album, King’s Disease. Earlier today (July 29th) the New York rapper announced that part-two will be coming on August 6th.

Sticking with what works, King’s Disease II will be produced by Hit-Boy, who is also behind the production in King’s Disease. Additionally, the sequel will be on Nas‘ Mass Appeal label.

Joan Armatrading To Do Livestream Concert This Weekend (@ArmatradingJoan)

This weekend, specifically on Saturday, July 31st, three times Grammy and two times Brit Award nominee Joan Armatrading will do a virtual concert to support her new album Consequences.

RL, Montel Jordan, Ginuwine & Dru Hill For “Summer Jam” In Rochester On Aug. 19th

The Beat 105.5 is delivering another old school Summer Jam R&B show. This one is set for Thursday, August 19th at the Rochester Auditorium Theater (885 E Main St) in Rochester, New York.

The lineup includes major rhythm and blues stars: RL, Montel Jordan, Ginuwine and Dru Hill. Tickets, which start at $67 USD, are now available via Ticketmaster.

Sarkodie’s New Album Drops On July 30 (@sarkodie)

Ghanaian rap artist Sarkodie is set to drop his sixth album, No Pressure, on July 30th via his own SarkCess Music label.

The 15-track project features appearances from an international cast including Vic Mensa (US), Giggs (UK), Wale (US/Nigeria), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Oxlade (Nigeria), Harmonize (Tanzania), Kwesi Arthur (Ghana) and Darko Vibes (Ghana).

Building anticipation for the project, Sarkodie has just dropped Vibrate featuring Vic Mensa, along with an official video shot during Mensa’s recent time in Ghana. The track joins Coachella (feat. Kwesi Arthur) and No Fugazy, as singles from the project. Production on the album comes from Ghana’s MOG, Altranova, KaySo and Kaywa, along with Nigerian beatmakers Rexxie and Coublon and UK-based Certified Bangerz.
