Fresh off her hit single Bait & Switch award-winning, Canadian R&B singer Melanie Durrant releases the brand-new video for her single One In A Million. The singer enlisted her long-time collaborator Byram ‘Beatchild’ Joseph to direct the video. The two had previously worked together when they co-directed the video for Durrant’s 2014 Juno-nominated single Gone. Produced by MoJointz & Ced Solo, the song is reminiscent of a vintage hip-hop throwback blended with smooth boom-bap drum patterns, an infectious horn riff, and topped with deejay cuts, courtesy of DJ Grouch.   

One In A Million can be found on Durrant’s recently released album Where I’m At. The album peaked at #9 on the Canadian iTunes R&B Chart, earned the #1 spot on Ryerson radio in Toronto, and has gained positive attention from various platforms and tastemakers across the media landscape

The highly anticipated album by two of pop music’s current trending voices, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, has finally been released. An Evening With Silk Sonic, the nine-track record, comes to us today – Friday, November 12th – courtesy of Aftermath Entertainment and the Atlantic Recording Corporation.

At the end of October Nneka dropped another new song and video although she is yet to officially announce the album, which we all know is coming. The new trip-hop fused record is titled With You.

At the end of October Alicia Keys announced that she would be dropping a double album, but she did not say when. According to the singer, the project titled Keys, will have two sides: side A will feature the original laid back piano songs her fans are accustomed to, while side B will have the more upbeat versions.

She followed up yesterday, on November 9th, and shared the expected release date, which is December 10, 2021.

R&B artist Monica will be one of the main headlining acts for the upcoming Atlanta R&B Holiday Jam concert on Saturday, December 18. She will be joined by Bell Biv Devoe, Xscape, Silk, Tevin Campbell, Ginuwine and Jacquees.

The show will take place at the State Farm Arena (1 State Farm Drive) in Atlanta, Georgia, commencing at 7:30pm (local time). Tickets, which starts at $60 USD are available via ticketmaster.
