Fatlip (The Pharcyde) & Blu (Blu & Exile) Share “Good For The Soul” Extended Version + Remixes

Two of hip-hop’s most talented and enigmatic artists; Los Angeles emcees Fatlip (The Pharcyde) and Blu (Blu & Exile), have linked for a hotly anticipated collaborative LP titled Live From the End of the World Vol. 1, (Demos), scheduled for release on April 1 via Los Angeles/Tokyo-based label Guilty By Association (GBA).

Having already teased two singles last month, they are now sharing a new extended version of Good For The Soul, adding a fresh verse from Ras Kass and a pair of remixes by Nottz and STLNDRMS.

Bone Thugs & Harmony, Rakim, Twista Among Confirmed Artists For “I Love HIp-Hop Fest” On March 11th

The 2022 I Love Hip-Hop Fest will feature performances from a mix of veteran and emerging MCs. The lineup includes: Bone Thugs & Harmony, Rakim, Project Pat, Twista, Shawnna, Crucial Conflict and more.

The festival will be held at 725 W Roosevelt Road, in Chicago, Illinois on Friday, March 11th at 7pm. The event organizer is requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Click here to buy tickets.

R&B star Ne-Yo will be setting the stage for valentine’s day this Thursday – February 10th – with a special performance at Avalon Hollywood (1735 N. Vine Street) in Los Angeles, California.

Hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco is still in the midst of his Food & Liquor tour. His next stop will be Brooklyn Steel this weekend: Saturday and Sunday. On both nights the doors will open at 7pm and there is an entrance fee of $60 USD.

One of Toronto’s most popular live music venues is celebrating the lifting of lockdowns with an in-person performance by two time Juno award winner Donné Roberts.

Set for Thursday, February 10th, the event will see the talented guitarist, singer and songwriter performing primarily in his native tongue, Malagasy.

Valentine’s Edition Of Verzuz Will See Anthony Hamilton & Musiq Soulchild Going Head-To-Head

Lovers of soul music are in a frenzy over the recently announced Verzuz performers: Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild. They’re set to face-off on Tuesday, February 15 at 5:30pm PT / 8:30pm ET at Avalon Hollywood (1735 Vine Street) in Los Angeles, California.

Anthony Hamilton, who started singing in church in his teenage years, is among America’s elite male singers, songwriters and record producers. He rose to stardom after the release of his platinum-selling second studio album, Comin’ From Where I’m From, in 2003. Ever since then he’s been giving us hits.

Equally captivating is Philadelphia born and raised recording artist Musiq Soulchild whose style blends R&B, funk, blues, jazz and gospel influences with hip-hop in a soulful way. Much like Hamilton, he also rose to prominence in the early 2000s by putting out back to back albums that did very well on the Billboard charts.
