Janet Jackson & New Edition Confirmed For The 85° West Music Festival

The evening of the 2022 Kentucky Derby race will be all about Janet Jackson and New Edition. The two musical acts have been confirmed for the 85° West Music Festival, which will take place at Lynn Family Stadium on the night of May 7th following the Derby.

Krush Groove Returns With Ice Cube, Method Man, T.I. & Others…

93.5 KDAY, the Cali station that’s all about old school hip-hop, will be bringing back the annual Krush Groove concert. Like most other events it was interrupted by the pandemic. The return date is Saturday, April 30 at the Crypto dot com Arena – 1111 S. Figueroa – in Los Angeles.

The lineup includes Ice Cube, T.I. Method Man, Redman, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DJ Quik, Suga Free, Paul Wall, Slim Thug and some unannounced surprise guests. Get tickets here.

Mýa Will Be At The Canyon Montclair In May (@MYAPLANET9)

Popular live music venue, The Canyon Montclair – 5060 North Montclair Plaza Lane – in Montclair, California, will host Mýa on Friday, May 27th. Doors will open at 6pm but the show will not begin until 8pm. Tickets, which start at $28 USD, are available via axs.

On Sunday May 8th, R&B artist Keyshia Cole will perform at The Novo – 800 W Olympic Blvd – in Los Angeles, California. This Mother’s Day show will also feature soul and R&B singer-songwriters Goapele and Jon B. It is being presented by Goldenvoice.

Mike Epps, MJB & New Edition Are The Headliners For The 2022 Soul Beach Music Festival

The 20th anniversary of the Soul Beach Music Festival takes place Memorial Day Weekend, 2022 on the gorgeous island of Aruba. Patrons will laugh along with Mike Epps, the headliner for Friday; sing with Mary J. Blige, the headliner for Saturday and dance to songs from New Edition, Sunday’s headliner.

The main acts will be supported by Ari Lennox (Sunday), Kevin Ross (Saturday) and Chase Anthony (Friday). Hosting duties will be split between Chris Spencer and Doug E. Fresh. Additional information is available on the event’s official website.

Mount Everest is featured on Euphoria‘s season two soundtrack. For those not in the know, Euphoria is the second most watched show in HBO history, behind Game of Thrones.
