Two of Jamaica’s most revered musical groups, Israel Vibration (Lascelle “Wiss” Bulgin, Albert “Apple Gabriel” Craig and Cecil “Skelly” Spence) and The Abyssinians (Bernard Collins, Donald Manning, Linford Manning), have given life to the lead single from Groundation‘s upcoming album.

The song – released in early January – is titled Original Riddim and it’s a roots tune that connects Jamaica’s music to its African lineage. Click here or on the image above to watch the official video, which features all the performers.

At the end of February Luciano, in partnership with Island Records, will release an eleven-track album titled Return Of The Chronicles. All the songs are remixes of previously published tracks from the Where There Is Life and Messenger albums.
