An Exhibition Of Tupac Shakur’s Life & Legacy Will Be At L.A. Live Museum Next Year

Lovers of legendary hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur are invited to a museum experience created to provide a deeper understanding of the man who used his creative platform to speak for the voiceless and oppressed.

The exhibition, dubbed Wake Me When I’m Free, will delve into the greater meaning of his activism, music and revolutionary art. It will also educate and enlighten attendees through a labyrinth of emotions, as they take a journey through his extraordinary life.

The grand opening is on January 21st, 2022 at L.A. Live, located at 944 Georgia Street (across from JW Marriott at the intersection of Georgia Street and Olympic Blvd.) in Los Angeles, California.

Mary J. Blige To Drop Two New Singles This Week (@maryjblige)

The queen of hip-hop and R&B, Mary J. Blige, will be releasing two new records this week – Thursday, December 3rd. The songs are Good Morning Gorgeous and Amazing, which is a collaboration done with mega producer DJ Khaled.

Both tracks are now available for pre-order on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Deezer.

What started out as a back and forth on twitter between Chance The Rapper and Dionne Warwick has resulted in a powerful new record called Nothing’s Impossible.

At the time of the online banter, Dionne Warwick, who initiated the conversation by asking why a hip-hop artist would add The Rapper to his moniker, was very open about her desire to work with the Chicago native. Chance for his part, couldn’t believe that Warwick even knew who he was.

Fast forward to November 26th, 2021; that’s the date Kind Music Group shared a new song by Dionne Warwick called Nothing’s Impossible, featuring Chance The Rapper. Click here to check it out.

Styles P & Havoc Form New Duo “Wreckage Manner” (@stylesp @mobbdeephavoc)

Styles P, one-third of The Lox and Havoc, one half of Mobb Deep, have joined forces to create a new duo called Wreckage Manner. The men will be releasing their self titled album on December 3rd via The Phantom Entertainment Inc., KeJuan Muchita Inc. and MNRK Records LP.

“Rolling Loud – California” Kicks Off On Dec. 10th (@RollingLoud)

Rolling Loud will be back in California from December 10th through to the 12th for what the organizers are calling the ultimate hip-hop experience. The three-day festival will be at the National Orange Show Event Center (689 S E St) in San Bernardino, California.

Patrons will be treated to live performances from J. Cole, Future, Kid Cudi, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Trippie Redd, Swae Lee, Gunna, Don Toliver, Moneybagg Yo, A Boogie, French Montana, Polo G, Ski Mask the Slump God, Rod Wave, Lil Yachty, Bia, Coi Leray and many, many more.

Slick Rick & Rakim To Headline Harlem Cultural Festival This Weekend

The 2021 Harlem Cultural Festival is to take place this Sunday, November 28th, at the world-famous Apollo Theater in New York. The free one day event will begin at 2pm in the afternoon and will end at 10pm.

The lineup includes headliners: Rakim and Slick Rick, as well as Count Basie Orchestra, Alyson Williams, Herbert Holler, Omar Edwards, Sonic Soul Force, C.A.M.P. and DJ J-Ronin.

The event organizer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination and everyone will be asked to wear a mask at all times.
