Lupe Fiasco’s Dec. 29 Concert Will Be Streamed Live Globally (@LupeFiasco @dreamstagelive)

Lupe Fiasco, who is currently doing the Food & Liquor tour, is making it known that as a consequence of shows being sold out quickly he will be streaming his December 29th concert live for fans who will not be able to see him in person.

The December 29th show will be at Brooklyn Steel, a 1800-capacity music venue in Brooklyn, New York. The performance, which will be supported by a full backing band, will broadcast in real time via Dreamstage. Get tickets and details here.

Dallas, Texas native Trip Lee, who wears multiple hats: recording artist, author and pastor, has just released a new single titled Supernatural. He shared the song, which can aptly be described as trap-gospel, earlier today (December 10th).

Common Puts Black Beauty On Full Display In New Video (@common)

In his just released video for Majesty – track number five on the A Beautiful Revolution (Pt 2) album – Common, unlike other famous rappers, featured only natural looking black women. From the start to the very end the visuals showed dark skin toned females, most of whom had authentic woolly hair.

LL Cool J Honored With Statue In New York (@llcoolj @LeozineStudio)

A sculptural monument dedicated to hip-hop legend LL Cool J is now on display at David Dinkins Circle in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. The statue, which is being called The G.O.A.T Monument, was erected in November 2021 and will remain in place until November 2022.

It displays a young LL Cool J wearing his signature kangol hat with a boombox in front of him. The piece was created by respected Trinidadian-American artist Sherwin Banfield. Click here to check it out.

An Exhibition Of Tupac Shakur’s Life & Legacy Will Be At L.A. Live Museum Next Year

Lovers of legendary hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur are invited to a museum experience created to provide a deeper understanding of the man who used his creative platform to speak for the voiceless and oppressed.

The exhibition, dubbed Wake Me When I’m Free, will delve into the greater meaning of his activism, music and revolutionary art. It will also educate and enlighten attendees through a labyrinth of emotions, as they take a journey through his extraordinary life.

The grand opening is on January 21st, 2022 at L.A. Live, located at 944 Georgia Street (across from JW Marriott at the intersection of Georgia Street and Olympic Blvd.) in Los Angeles, California.
