Legendary hip-hop artist Method Man has joined forces with tech company, Intercept Music, to launch a worldwide digital distribution platform. The objective is to give independent artists and record labels access to hundreds of digital stores, as well as all major streaming platforms.

The NY State of Mind Tour, starring two legendary hip-hop brands was just announced. Wu-Tang Clan and Nasir ‘Nas’ Jones will be going across North America, stopping in approximately twenty-six cities; starting in late Summer and going through the Fall. Ms Lauryn Hill has been added as a special guest on this year’s Preakness Live Culinary, Art & Music Festival. Scheduled for May 20th, the event which is curated by Kevin Liles will also feature performances from D-Nice, Brittney Spencer, Morgan State University Marching Band and more.

Fisherman’s Village Music Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. The event is slated for May 19 through 21 in the heart of downtown Everett in Washington State.

Veteran recording artist Big Daddy Kane will perform at Josephine Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia tonight. He will be supported by Mix Master David, Jay Tek Quinn and the Jukebox Band.
Hip-Hop artist Big Boi, who is one half of the famed rap group OutKast, has been added to the fourth annual Sound Mind Music Festival for Mental Health.
The live outdoor event will be held at New York City’s Central Park on May 21 at 4pm. In addition to Big Boi, the show will also feature performances by Cold War Kids, American Authors, KAMAUU, Wrabel and Allison Russell; with host comedian Gina Brillon. The event will – for the first time – stream live on TikTok.
“Mental health has always been an issue that I’ve recognized,” Big Boi says. “I’m hyped to be a part of an event that bridges the gap between music and raising awareness of how we can improve support systems.”
