On Sunday, July 22nd, Ms. Lauryn Hill will be performing songs from her Grammy album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” at the Pitchfork Music Festival. As the album was released in August 1998, this is its 20 year anniversary.
Never one to disappoint, hip-hop artist, actor and activist Common, released a full length album titled “August Greene” on March 9th. The project is a collaborative effort with Grammy-winning pianist/producer Robert Glasper and drummer/producer Kerriem Riggins. The trio have formed a group, with the same name, and this album is their first release.
