Following the success of the Roots Picnic, which took place on the 1st, the hip-hop group will be doing a slew of shows for the rest of the month.
On the 7th they will be at the REAL Watersports in Waves, North Carolina; on the 14th they are confirmed for the Edgefield concerts on the lawn; on the 15th they will be at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon; Ottawa City Hall will be the next stop on the 29th, and finally, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN on the 30th.
The official video for Koffee‘s remix of Rapture, which features Govana, is now available on YouTube. Rapture is on Koffee‘s recently released (Mar 14, 2019) EP with the same name.

Dubbed as the intersection of social justice, art and music: Emerge is a community rooted in an annual gathering, where inspired change makers are entertained and engaged through programming that moves them to imagine and create a better world. Hence, they have invited outspoken Brooklyn MC, Talib Kweli, to be a part of the event this Friday, May 31st.

On Saturday, May 25th, hip-hop legend Nas will be up close and personal at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo (26 Avenue Princesse Grace) in Monaco. He will be supported by DJ Cruz. This is a 100% hip-hop event that will see Nas performing all his greatest hits.

Essence will be hosting a series titled ‘Women in Hip-hop’ on Thursday, July 4th from 10 PM to 2 AM at the Republic Nola (828 S. Peters Street) in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Hosted by legendary female hip-hop artist, MC Lyte, Women in Hip-hop will feature appearances by Yo-Yo, Rapsody, Trina and Mumu Fresh. Both DJ K Rock and DJ Jermaine will be on the turn-tables.
